About Lisa

For the past two decades, I have been active in our NEISD community, serving as a dedicated parent, teacher, substitute, PTA President, and educational coach.

My teaching career spans Jackson Keller Elementary, Stone Oak Elementary, Tuscany Heights Elementary, and West Avenue Elementary. While I cherished my time in the classroom, the needs of my young family led me to redirect my focus toward volunteer work through PTA. Serving as PTA President at Hidden Forest Elementary, Bradley Middle School, and Churchill High School, I have remained connected to education by continuing to substitute in NEISD.

I am humbled to have received the PTA Honorary Life Member Award, the Texas PTA Extended Service Award and a Superintendent’s Award for my contributions to NEISD. Additionally, I completed the Leadership North East Program, which allowed me to see the NEISD leadership at the district level and gave me a new perspective as a parent and advocate.

Driven by a passion for the education of our children and the well-being of teachers and families, I understand the trust placed in NEISD to ensure students' safety, education, and preparation each day. I aim to perpetuate the longstanding legacy of excellence that NEISD has provided to my family and me over the last 21 years.

Supporting parents and staff  is crucial for fostering a positive and effective educational environment.  In my leadership volunteer work it has always been a goal to connect parents, students, teachers and administration.
Enhance Community Engagement
Education is a shared responsibility among families, communities and educators.  When communities are involved in communities, it provides a richer learning experience for students.
